What You’ll Be Doing
As a Veterinary Assistant / Surgical Assistant, you’ll play an active role in both outpatient care and surgical support.
You’ll help with:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments and patient exams
- Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery
- Supporting surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating assistant
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
- Safely restraining and handling patients with compassion
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments
- Supporting hospitalized patients and ensuring comfort and care
- Updating medical records in a paperless system
- Communicating with clients to support patient care and education

- Have 6–12 months of veterinary assistant experience preferred
