What You’ll Be Doing

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in both surgical and medical care.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
  • Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs
  • Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments
  • Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture
  • Caring for hospitalized and recovering patients
  • Supporting client communication and education
  • Maintaining accurate medical records in a paperless system
  • Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care at all times

You’ll be trusted to use your training, think critically, and actively participate in patient care.
