What You’ll Be Doing
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in both surgical and medical care.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
- Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments
- Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture
- Caring for hospitalized and recovering patients
- Supporting client communication and education
- Maintaining accurate medical records in a paperless system
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care at all times
You’ll be trusted to use your training, think critically, and actively participate in patient care.
